How to Join CMI:
Apply to the Team
As a sub-editor, you will help the output of content. This involves:
Write at least two articles a month, at least one of them long (1000 words min.).
Freedom to pitch columns and new, creative content.
As part of the Visuals Team you will be in charge of the look and feel of CMI.
This involves being part of a team that will:
Oversee the look of the website, especially the creation of article visuals.
Head up the visuals for projects such as the launch of a termly print magazine & video series.
Liaise with the Communications team to help create content features for social media
We're looking for:
Graphic Designers: Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and/or InDesign
Photographers: For longer-lead feature visuals and to contribute to our open source of images
Videographers: For a new video series
you can submit your images to the CMI Open Source. This is an online drive where you will have your own folder to upload stock images for articles. We will always credit your images on our socials & in our articles.

Having had a year of growth, we're looking to explore getting sponsorship to help take us into the next stage.
This is an exploratory role with flexibility and freedom.
You would work with the Editors-in-Chief and Operations Director to help create networks and build relationships. Open-ended role, starting next term but ramping up activities over summer.
